"Miss P at his mother's house" (1979) Miss P posing for a photo. Dave Wegman comments that "Our Mom took this one. Pretty confident it's 1979, will have to look up the date. Paul had come up for a visit, brought a trunk of drag with him in hopes to perform at Jims, the largest club in Rochester at the time. They wouldn't schedule a special / short notice show. At this time was when I was doing Frank N Furter in the local shadow cast of Rocky Horror and this is what he wore going to that. The Horny Bull was one of Tampa's first drag bar where many performers got their start in drag performance. Dave Wegman, his brother, comments that image was taken in "1972 at The Horny Bull in Tampa. He detailed on this costume and number in the James Sears book 'Rebels, Rubyfruit, and Rhinestones'. This fundraiser, created by Carmella Marcella Garcia, became an annual event where people would build Bonnets and put them up for auction, with proceeds going to a local charity.
